Queensland SKILLED PROGRAM 2020:
BSMQ is planning to open the entire skilled program for Queensland State Nomination in the coming weeks – including the:
- Skilled Nominated (Permanent) visa (subclass 190)
- Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)
The program will open with some occupations removed from the QSOLs due to occupation quotas being met.
Please do not submit your EOI if your occupation has been removed from the relevant list as it will not be picked up.
The exact opening date of the skilled program is yet to be confirmed, but please monitor the website and social media pages for notice of this.
Please do not submit your EOI until the program is officially opened, and please do not call or email BSMQ to request the specific opening date, as this has not yet been confirmed.
If you submitted an EOI on 29–30 July 2019 and have not yet received an invitation for a 190 visa you will need to submit a BRAND NEW EOI when the program re-opens.
BSMQ will continue processing applications to those who have received an invitation, if all documents have been provided and the application fee paid by Thursday 14 November 2019 (COB). Extension requests will not be granted.
Any applications where documents have not been provided or payment has not been received by Thursday 14 November 2019 will be closed.
