Every month the Department of Home Affairs publishes an indicative timeframe for processing visa applications. The last update has just been released (19 August 2020):
▪️ 189 Skilled Independent (Subclass 189) (Points-Tested): from 3 to 15 months
▪️ 190 Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190): from 5 to 8 months
▪️ 491 Skilled Work Regional (provisional) visa (Subclass 491) (State/Territory Government Nominated Regional): from 63 days to 3 months
▪️ 186 Employer Nomination Scheme visa (Subclass 186) (Direct Entry Pathway): 6 to 8 months
▪️ 485 Temporary Graduate (graduate work): 4 to 5 months
▪️ 820 Partner visa (onshore): from 20 to 25 months
▪️ 801 Partner visa (onshore): from 13 to 25 months
▪️ 309 Partner visa (offshore): from 15 to 20 months.
