1# Tasmania 190 & 491 Skilled Migration Program Updates. The Tasmanian Nominated Skilled Migration Program now has only very limited subclass 491 nomination places remaining.
2# IML — New Skills Assessor for AIM Occupation. The Institute of Managers and Leaders (IML) has replaced the Australian Institute of Managers (AIM) as the new skills assessing authority from 23 Mar 2021 all applicants will need to meet the new assessment criteria.
3# Australia SkillSelect invitation round has been announced. Conducted on 21 January, the first invitation round for 2021 had some interesting outcomes. The combined total of 363 invitations is three times the amount issued in Oct 2020, with 200 of those issued for a Subclass 189 Skilled Independent visa and 163 for the Subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional (Family Sponsored) visa.
