From 15 June 2021, applicants will need to provide at least three types of identity documents when applying for a skills assessment for professional occupations. This is due to updated requirements from the Australian Government.
What identity documents do I need?
Applicants must provide at least one form of primary document and two others from the list below:
At least one of the following primary documents:
- Passport bio page
- Birth certificate
At least one or more secondary documents.
Acceptable secondary forms of identification may include, but are not limited to:
- National ID
- Driver’s Licence
- Social security card
- Marriage certificate
- Student identity card
- Australian visa
Please ensure that:
- At least one of your ID documents contains a photo of you; and
- At least one of your ID documents contains your full name and date of birth.
