FAQ

Q1: How can you start to take our services (Letter of Advice or 1-hour session)?

Please email us on info@MigrationGiants.com.au that you are willing to take our services of ‘Letter of Advice’, which will cost A$650 + GST (excluding Business visas – please contact us for a Business visa Letter of Advice). The Letter of Advice Services includes a Letter of Advice +1 hour of discussion on that Letter of Advice. Please do not ask for any discounts at this stage as we will adjust this fee in our future installments as mentioned below. Sample Letter of Advice can be downloaded here: <Sample Letter of Advice>

Alternatively, if you do not need things in writing and wish to discuss your case in a single session (45 minutes to 1 hour), then, it will cost A$395 (excluding Business visas). No discounts available.

If you think the initial consultation is high and should be FREE, please read our first FAQ on top of this page.

The Process: For Letter of Advice in writing, include the following information in that email:

Your full name, Home Address and Mobile# and Type of visa you wish us to prepare the letter of advice (skilled visa, student visa, child visa, partner visa, visitor visa, employer sponsored visa or any other visa).

Please note: The above consultation fee is to prepare ‘Letter of Advice’ by evaluating ONE primary/main applicant only. If you are husband and wife and both are qualified and can become primary applicants for Skilled visas and you wish us to evaluate both cases to decide who can best become the primary applicant/main applicant, then, you will have to pay the above fee for each case to be evaluated. We will then create two ‘Letter of Advice’, one for each applicant.

The Process – for taking the services of ‘Letter of Advice’

  1. Send us an email that you are interested in the ‘Letter of Advice’ services.
  2. We will send you an invoice for payment [including our company account details]
  3. You pay the invoice (you can pay via credit card/debit card as well – credit card/debit card surcharge apply).
  4. We send you the list of documents
  5. Once you have sent us all the list of documents, it will take us 7 to 10 working days to make the Letter of Advice (or more depending upon the complexity of your case).
  6. Once you get the letter of advice, you can make notes/questions and we can then discuss it in detail at a mutual time for 1 hour.

The Process – for taking the services of ‘1-hour session’

  1. Send us an email that you are interested in the ‘1-hour session’ services.
  2. We will send you an invoice for payment [including our company account details]
  3. You will pay the invoice (you can pay via credit card/debit card as well – credit card/debit card surcharge apply)
  4. We send you the list of documents that will be helpful during that 1-hour session (for e.g: Your CV, Your experience letters for exact dates etc).
  5. We will book a 1-hour video conferencing session at a mutual date and time and that session will be on zoom/google-meet.

The above amount gets adjusted into our future consultation fee in 2 installments if your case is strong and we both (you and agent) are happy to go ahead with the case. If the case is weak and we do not move forward, then, this amount is non-refundable. At least by spending this small amount, you will know that whether your case is weak or in case you are not eligible for Australian immigration.

Please note: Don’t forget to read other faqs as we have taken out considerable time to write them.

Q2: Can someone at MigrationGiants evaluate my case for FREE for a Skilled Visa (Skilled Migration to Australia/Skilled Immigration)?

Skilled visa is for professionals (someone who have at least a Bachelor’s qualification) and we expect that our professionals/students would be wise enough to understand that any professional advice cannot be free as there is no free lunch. ‘Time is money’, hence no professional consultant will give their time to provide free professional advice whether it’s a doctor or a lawyer unless they are providing advice on a non‑commercial or non‑profit basis. We are registered as a for-profit consultant and have registered our business in that setting.

Australian immigration is a privilege and it costs money to receive professional advice with a for-profit consultant as well as to pay the fees to various entities in Australia (including Skill Assessment Fee, State Sponsorship fee and Visa fees).

We are professional migration agents (Registered Migration Agents of Australia, MARN: 1804599) and if you think that we should evaluate your skilled migration case for free, so that you can then decide whether to pursue your case or not, then, we would like to share some statistics with you. We get around 30 CVs per day to evaluate for FREE. Each CV takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour to evaluate. We need at least another 1 hour to write that advice and then, another 1 hour to explain that evaluation to you. Just to count 1 hour, for now, this means we need 30 hours to evaluate CVs for free in a 24-hour time. Since we only have 1 registered migration agent of Australia at MigrationGiants, we would like to invite you to help us out in the following way by becoming a Registered Migration Agent yourself by following the below steps, so that we can refer you all our prospective clients who need a FREE evaluation of their case.

In order to become a Registered Migration Agent of Australia, you can follow all the details here:

https://www.mara.gov.au/steps-to-register/before-you-apply

which have been summarised below:

  1. You will have to study and pass a 1-year full-time qualification named Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law and Practice course which will cost $22,000+ for 1 year. Please note, that you will study as an international student (assuming you are not a permanent resident or Australian citizen). We are listing a few universities which offer this course.

https://www.uts.edu.au/study/find-a-course/graduate-diploma-migration-law-and-practice

  1. Pass the Capstone assessment which will cost: $2,690.

https://legaltrainingaustralia.com/capstone

  1. Pass the IELTS (Academic) exam or equivalent with 7 bands (which will cost around $295+)
  1. Apply for a Registration, which will cost: $1,760

https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2017C00550

  1. Other Costs:
  • a national police check: $40
  • a professional library subscription: $740+
  • professional indemnity insurance: $250+
  • continuing professional development requirements: $300+

Total cost: $22,000 + $2,690 + $295+  $1,760 + $40 + $740 + $250 + $300 =   $28,000+ (Please convert this into your own currency to get an idea).

Once the above is achieved, please open up your own office and get the number of years of experience (like we have) in the Australia immigration field and get some success stories like we have mentioned on our website and we will then share our prospective clients to you, so that you can evaluate their CVs for free.

We hope the above is a fair explanation to your question “if we can evaluate your CV for free”.

Please note: Don’t forget to read other faqs as we have taken out considerable time to write them.

Q3: Is there a difference between immigration Points calculated by a client VS a registered migration agent?

There will always be a chance that the points calculated by you will be different to the points calculated by a registered migration agent. The reason for the difference between your points calculation and our points calculation is simple: We know the exact intricacies/complexities as to where points can be gained or reduced.

For example:

When giving yourself points for Education, you cannot just give yourself 15 points because B.Com (2 yr) and any other Bachelors (which is 3 or 4 years) is not the same. You will have to get country education profile for your country in order to find out whether your qualification and the quality of the institution from which you have studied is actually equal to Bachelors.

https://internationaleducation.gov.au/services-and-resources/services-for-organisations/Pages/Services-for-organisations.aspx

Similarly, for employment, you just cannot give yourself the points based on your total number of years of employment. For example: If you are  computer science-related graduate and if you have 5 years of experience and you claim 10 points, this can be incorrect because The Australian Computer Society does not calculate the full experience after your qualification.

The above 2 examples are just the tip of the ice-berg.

Other things to consider are: What is the time when your age gets locked. Because, unless your age gets locked, you have a chance of getting reduced points score because your age changes each passing day.

However, it’s good for you to calculate your own points to have an idea of your likely chance of immigration.

Please note: Don’t forget to read other faqs as we have taken out considerable time to write them.

Q4: Do you provide services for clients who live outside Australia?

We have clients from across the world and post COVID-19, we provide services through Zoom and Google Meet.

You can view our success stories where you will find that our clients are from many different countries including Saudia Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Middle East, USA etc.

So, the answer is yes, we provide services to all clients within and outside Australia.

Q5: What is a Letter of Advice?

We make a ‘Letter of Advice’ in writing by receiving all your documents. Sample Letter of Advice can be downloaded here: <Sample Letter of Advice>

This Letter of Advice will be made by a Registered Migration Agent of Australia (MARN: 1804599). Always consult with a Registered Migration Agent of Australia who is qualified and has a license to give immigration advice.

For Skilled visas, the Letter of Advice will include:

  1. All possible Skilled Immigration Options for Australia.
  2. Which occupation will be the closest for your case based on your education and employment.
  3. What are your chances of skilled immigration based on your total points.
  4. How much approximate time (in months) it will take for the entire Skilled Immigration process to take place.
  5. Your Skilled Immigration points and how to increase those points.
  6. The possible States/Territories that can sponsor your occupation ( for e.g: New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, etc.).
  7. Past records as to which States/Territories have sponsored your occupation.
  8. The total cost of skilled immigration with an exact breakdown of consultation fees and charges for Australia as an installment plan.
  9. Consist of 4-5 pages.
  10. 1 hour of discussion on the Letter of Advice.

For other visas, the Letter of Advice will include from above: Point # 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10 based on that specific type of visa.

Q7. What are the Success Stories?

We highly recommend viewing our SUCCESS STORIES from clients who have successfully received residency in Australia:

Before you engage any Registered Migration Agent, make sure you check their success stories in Skilled Migration as there are many visas in Australia. Some specialise in Business visas, other might specialise in Visit visas, Student visas and employer-sponsored visas. We specialise in Skilled visas.

We believe that  ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER than words.

  • Not only do we have photographs, but we also have VIDEOS of each success story, which will give you INSIGHTS about our competency level and our level of Customer Service.
  • Please note: Not all clients are comfortable having their success shared publicly. Therefore, these success stories are of selected clients who have taken out the time and have put an effort to give us the feedback about their success and our services.
We would like you to watch all the videos. ALL means, ALL. So that you exactly know what the clients are saying.
If you think that these clients are non genuine, search them out on Linkedin or social media and contact them and ask them if their review is genuine.

Q8. Is there a Guarantee for the case to be successful?

A registered migration agent must not engage in false or misleading advertising, including advertising in relation to guaranteeing the success of an application. as mentioned in Code of Conduct 2.10 (c). This means an agent must not guarantee the success of an application.
